BUILDING THE BASE IN SPANISH/CONSTRUYENDO LA BASE EN ESPAÑOL*

Goal:

To develop and deepen the expertise of bilingual, dual language, and foreign language educators to design and enact high-challenge and high-support learning opportunities in Spanish.

 

You will learn to:

• Consider the immense benefits of offering high quality learning opportunities in Spanish

• Engage in Spanish language exemplars that provide high expectations coupled with high support across grade levels

• Design well-scaffolded lessons in Spanish

• Implement lessons that actively engage all students by inviting them to participate in sustained, high-quality interactions
