Dr. Aída Walqui was the keynote speaker today at the first Conference on Rural English Learner Education and Research, CREER.
The conference was held at the University of Florida for educators, leaders, administrators, counselors, and community agencies who work in rural settings with English learner (EL) students and families. This conference aimed to build a network of support for rural English Learners.
