Are you trying to offer English Learners in your schools quality opportunities to learn? Do you want to learn new ways of supporting them as they engage in activity? Does your school or district have classes with students who have a wide range of English proficiencies?

Every summer QTEL holds professional development institutes for educators focused on the development of educator expertise to engage English Learners and all other students in deep, generative learning.

​

During our summer institutes, participants experience and understand powerful models of learning which they are able to turn into school practices that cultivate global competencies and academic development for English Learners and all other students.

2024 QTEL Summer Institutes: Creating Equitable Educational Spaces for English Learners

Date: July 15 – July 19, 2024
Time: 8:30 am – 3:00 pm

Course Offerings

Cost

Registration and materials: $2,500 per person for a five-day, in-person institute. Teams of 5 or more participants are $2,000 per person for a five-day, in-person institute.
 
Breakfast and lunch included daily.

PLEASE READ BEFORE BOOKING:

If you have someone paying for your room you will need to have them contact the group housing coordinator of Chaminade Report and Spa, Krysta Souza Neff, so that she can send out the appropriate credit card authorization forms.

Cards used to book the rooms online cannot and will not be used for payment.


Groups can be covered by check if sent to the Chaminade at least 2 weeks before the arrival date. Checks cannot be brought to check in for payment.


For split payment of shared rooms, double reservations need to be built directly by the Group Housing Coordinator and should not be reserved online.

  • Received on or before: May 20, 2024: 100% of tuition refunded

  • Received on or before: June 3, 2024: 75% of tuition refunded

  • Received on or before: July 1, 2024: 50% of tuition refunded

  • After July 1, 2024: we will not be able to refund tuition.
